@tyler44237 I don't think your comment is necessarily racist, it's just not accurate. My Occupy videos have featured Angela Davis, Starhawk, Rebecca Solnit, and Asmaa Mahfouz, and the film itself, as all my work, will be noteable for it's diversity, gender and cultural. I agree, diversity is important, and to be celebrated. BTW using the capital letters is akin to shouting on-line.

Great question dreck34. If the Pope, Rick Warren, etc. spoke on loving teachings of Jesus at OWS, would it be venomous to question the appropriateness? In Dharma we suspend judgmentalism; a result of attachment. But we also think of critical thinking as crucial. In any movement co-optation is a concern. With so many great Buddhist teachers in NYC, why give a forum to a celebrity whose actions in the Buddhist community often express the opposite of what he preaches? Asking this is not venomous.

it' not racist. it's the truth! ???

Also, racism is not an opinion. racism is something built within the system; it's in it's laws, it's in it's economy, it's ideologies.

So, don't whine and ball about white males receiving any criticism. The whole fuckin system caters to your kind. Fuck off cracker!

Not sure why Bob is getting involved in political activism like this. The political activist imagines he is totally right and a truly good person, whereas the powerful are wrong and wicked. But Buddhism teaches that no one is right and good, everyone is wrong and wicked to some extent and projecting that wickedness on to others, who of course are wicked in their own way and so fit the projection so well, blinds us to our true selves and prevents us from waking up. Go and meditate Bob!

correlated with the timeline detailed by the Freemasons in their admittedly published book "the permanent instruction of the alta vendita". I won't call them by name, but there is a force out there interested in turning everyone away from religion and morality and they do this with negative intentions. If you see the world when they detail this plan, it is religious. If you watch the world after this detailed plan, it goes exactly according to their plan outlined in the 1820's. Google it. Peace.

This is so sad. I thought the conservative Bush era was bad. I literally would do anything to go back to the days before I knew that there was a hefty chunk of the U.S. population that thought/acted this way. Sorry if I offend anyone but the demoralization is the weapon that is breaking us and you people don't see it. I know that an overwhelming majority at occupy is pro-choice pro-gay-marriage atheists. That is your freedom in America but the ever-increasing number of atheists is suspiciously..
