Project Wezesha co-founder, Rai Farrelly talks with two of the students in our scholarship program about secondary education in their villages. Hindu and Saidi share their experiences, which reflect the challenges faced by students to get a good education when teachers often arrive to class late or not at all. They also uncover the challenges faced by teachers to provide significant learning opportunities in over-crowded classrooms with limited resources.

It would appear that secondary schools are not able to provide adequate education under the circumstances, but when you listen to these bright young students speak clearly and critically about the state of education in their region, I think you'll agree - something is working!

Thank you to those who have been supporting Hindu in her journey. It continues this coming year when she enrolls in a vocational training program. Saidi is in his second year of secondary school and he stands out as one of the top students in his class.
