Smooth! Good fluidity of movement and the video is clean.
Question : Can you grind both feet at the same time? Or... maybe grind the truck on your front foot while sliding the middle of your back foot on the coping? If you did, that would be a mizou.
However, looking at your video, I think you might need wider trucks so that you can 'truck grind'.
Thanks very much Biff. This ramp is quite wide and not so high (1.8mX9m), so I love it for long grinds/slides. First time I ride it, but not last!!!
On the video 2, there are some 50-50 grinds with both skates ;-)
So you think that my 4" hanger trucks are not wide enough? They are Krux 3.5" but once measured on the hanger, they are 4", like my ventures 4"....mystery...
I do Mizou and Kindgrind too, but I need more training to last them so long ;-)
I didn't think that 4" trucks were not wide enough. It is just that the trucks looked smaller in this video, like regular rollerskate trucks.
I just emlarged your video, and now I can tell they are wider.
Now that I have inline h-blocks on my skates. I too am learning to do these grinds. I find whipping into the coping, by carving at the last moment, helps get you a lot more distance on the grinds. Maybe you need a material that slides faster?
Tried H-blocks, wood, Teflon and Iron, I prefer Iron, because whatever the temperature of the coping (-10°C to 70°C), it slides the same way and good. But I will try other materials lighter if I find (Titane or flint for sparks!!!)
Often when I don't slide/grind a long distance, I think it's because my speed is too low, so gaining confidence and the right speed should help (I hope).
If your skates don't slide well, you can always put wax on the coping. Especially on ledges and concrete.

I sometime use wax when the coping is too rusty, but I avoid on ramp, cause the ramp become slippery too.
When I was young, there was no coping nor plateform on ramps, it's fun to have both!!!
