  • eddie bravo on the joe rogan podcast brought me here

  • I like the smokey atmosphere. It adds like a total underground fight element to it even though you can clearly see it's very professional. Great sub by the way.

  • @maskedman000 LMAO me tooo!!

  • @aridavidpaul

Palhares never pulls guard dude. he usually takes guys down and goes straight for a leg.

  • @LazaaMMA Aoki has never submitted a world class grappler. Werdum is a good example for your case, but his submission of Fedor was the exception. Far more often, the guy on the bottom gets GnP'ed, his face destroyed with elbows, or LnP'ed to a decision loss. A great example is Frank Mir. He was a bottom BJJ specialist for most of his career and got GnP'ed by the newbie Lesnar after Lesnar had a year of submission defense training. It's easier to defend submissions in MMA than to land them.

  • @LazaaMMA When elite grapplers are in the guards of top BJJ guys, the BJJ guys get TKO'ed. For example, Matt Hughes in Renzo Gracie's guard, GSP in BJ's guard, Fedor in Noguiera's guard, Marquardt in Palhares' guard, and the list goes on. Today, just about everyone in MMA learns a little BJJ and when the top guy is shirtless, sweaty, punching you in the face, and at least reasonably versed in submission defense, it's not easy to land a sub.

  • He supposed to fight Bisping Winner MICHAEL THE COUNT BISPINGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Good BJJ skills but that will only do well against british fighters as stand up is still the main strength here for now. If he fights a decent striker/wrestler I cant see him having the same success. He really needs to improve his stand up skills and then I could see him making a run for that UFC belt.

  • Dnt get me wrong Paul is a good bjj guy but that's it! He is a one dimentuonal fighter just like I am with my stand up! But he shit his pants as soon as the bell went! Paul didn't wana no, he just wanted to get in and get out! Personaly I dnt think he will go far coz there is alot if fighters out there that have good bjj and also wicked standup skills witch Paul lacks! But best of luck with the future!!
