Jessica Lange went from being scared (king kong) to being scary (American horror story) lol

"What the hell are you doing here? You Goddamn hippy!"

That quote and where Ann calls Kong 'a male chauvinist pig' are the two bits that always stick in my mind from the 1976 KK film.

I understand what you mean, I would have loved to see THIS Kong fight more beasts because to me this Kong was the most badass. A lot of critics put this movie down because it lacked all the 'lost world' stuff, I try my best to explain with a reasonable reply. King Kong, looked very impressive in this movie however the snake did not. I am worried if they did use dinosaurs they might be costume designed and won't look very good, you know what I mean?

The 1976 remake of King Kong contains a very beautiful, romantic score by the great John Barry, plus it's leading blonde lady who connects with a giant gorilla was no doubt the sexist. One thing i wished the 76 Kong had were more encounters with creatures, after all the ape's island is a "lost world" so it's fitting that is should be populated by strange/prehistoric creatures, don't you find odd that the only inhabitants besides the natives were a giant gorilla and snake?

Oh.. the actress who played the girl (Dwan) is Jessica Lange, who now portraits Constance in American Horror Story. She's so lovely and funny!

This movie is also the best King Kong movie in my opinion.
