3 Alternatives to crowning the witch
1. hunting rifle ~ in the head while she is crying not startled.
2. pipebomb ~ Near the witch if its too far away it'll just piss her off.
3. propane tank ~ same deal as the pipebomb.

All these methods of killing the witch rely on the initial knock back

Additional thoughts

Method #1
The hunting rifle to the witches head method might be a bit impracticable with the number of head shots required to take her out. However as a team effort it should be much easier if you have your friends with shotguns or assaults rifles to take her down quicker while meleeing her. But it's still no match for someone with good cr0wning skills

Method #2 and 3

Using the propane tank or the pipebomb method to cause the initial knockback then melee her and shoot her with a shotgun should take her out quickly it might even be safer than a cr0wn. But anyways take these alternatives to cr0wning with a grain of salt think of them simply as educational rather than practical but who knows it might come in handy in a campaign sometime. Or to wow your friends or something like that.
