Tribute to Cortana | "Going Under"

CONTAINS SPOILERS

UNSC AI CTN 0452-9 has been in service for only a few years, but has already demonstrated her loyalty to John-117 on countless occasions. Being a "smart A.I.", Cortana may be capable of performing outstanding feats in a matter of seconds, but always runs the risk of attaining rampancy -- an artificial intelligence's decent into insanity. After being willingly left behind on the Covenant Holy City, High Charity, and staying through the Flood infection of it, Cortana is coming closer and closer to this state of rampancy due to the Gravemind's constant torment. Will John-117 be able to save her from the Flood menace before her programming goes out of control?
