  • that playing at 1:04 was pretty badass, and i hate country.

  • WAYY better than Jason Spencer

  • how would you save a phrase onto your computer?

  • Does anyone knows the basic differences (aside from price...) between the PX5D and the Pandora Mini??

  • What I got from this video???........... Some cool, awesome music from esoteric smooth hands.....I need to get my hands at least half as smooth as that.....I wasn't even paying attention to what product was demoed until the very end!

  • @chico280 he most likely used it for the backing tracks and probably even recording the guitar rhythm parts but the lead/solo pieces he undoubtedly used one of his tube amps and signature mic rig.

I could be wrong but I doubt it. I can hear the a lot of amperage driving his tone. Digital gear doesn't use much power at all.

  • @JonDeth Well it was about that time that I remember seeing ads with him promoting it, thats why I thought that.

  • @chico280 not a chance in hell. These units are great toys but that's all they are. You hear one in person and it's like well, they sound very good but they don't sound album worthy. They don't do well with pinch harmonics and sound more digital than a Line 6 or a Zoom G series.

Satriani's tone is far too expressive and organic to be produced by most digital gear.

  • This sounds like what Satriani must have used on the engines of creation ( I think) cd

  • This app seems more like a synthetic emulator. You don't use a guitar for synth sounds, you use a guitar to make guitar sounds. I think I'll stick with amplitube 3.
