Judging by the comments it seems that many were simply not interested in Roger's testimony and simply ignored what he had to say. His message is consistent with scripture, that he was dead in sin with no ability to change himself. Religion could not help him, but Jesus took him as he was and made him a new man as the scriptures say, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come." ~ 2 Corinthians 5:17.

You make it sound as if he didn't appear on the program of his own free will. And I didn't hear anything in his testimony that sounded like "hatred and judgment".

@Goodlife51 yeah but what about bad blood transfusions

@mariatinaza All cases of AIDS stems from UNGODLY living.....the previous lifestyles u bring up validate my point.....when man steps outta bounds they get burned...SEX is GOD`s design!!..but man wants to follow his flesh..we ALL have to deny our feelings...married men see beautiful women all the time..thats no license to Fonicate...homosexuals dont get to follow what they feel simply because they feel it..come on!! If u dont go thru the PAIN of denying urself u will go thru the PAIN of regret!

Jesus saved Roger.. It is done! The problem he had is lust, unhealthy sexual practice and uncontrol desires..NOT homosexuality! if a whore dying of AIDS sat down and confessed in public TV that she was guilty of her heterosexuality, all straight people will become outraged and gay people should feel religiously obligated to condemn her...? its 2011, life of civilization not only found in the USA especially in Dr.Ankerberg's Show..

@Goodlife51 you were right, but there are married couples who contracted AIDS from their previous lifestyles.. God also spoken of Abraham and Jacob polygamous sex as well as Lot's incestful.. so ok this is not DESTRUCTIVE as the gay "lifestyle"... happy puss licker bro..
-
walkthejosh and bbravo...the consequences of the gay lifestyle is DESTRUCTIVE...GOD has spoken...but man is so proud...lets be clear..ALL sex outside of marriage is DESTRUCTIVE...this story is sad..but not uncommon

Using Roger's story to try to show that homosexuality is wrong is the same as using a person who weighs 700 pounds because they eat terrible food constantly to show that eating is wrong. Maybe even more to the point it's like using a heterosexual sex addict to show that heterosexuality is wrong.

This is the most tremendous crock of shit I've ever seen. How are the experience of a victim of child rape and a sex addict supposed to be representative of the general gay experience? Are these Christian bimbos actually suggesting that the average gay person's sexual impulses are so out of control that he can't hold a job? And Ann Coulter says that liberals use victims to advance bogus arguments. Go back to the Middle Ages, Mr. Martin, and take your beer belly and your homophobia with you

The scripture I was quoting was from Matthew chapter 7. It says, in the King James Version: " Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And, in verse 5: "Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye." It is a very well known scripture.
using someone dying of aids to preach hatred and judgment. that's pretty sleazy.

Firstly, I'm not gay. Even if I were it wouldn't have any impact on my argument. Aids and other sexual diseases are spread by having unsafe/unprotected sex. I was correct in saying that both straight and gay people have STDs including AIDS, and that most gay and straight peple do not have AIDS. There is nothing I said which was incorrect. Yes, you are correct, gay people do tend to have higher rates of HIV and AIDS. However, it is still a very small percentage and stems from unprotected sex.
