bit over my christmas allowance :( if anyone could tell me the difference between this one and the cheaper version (Ibanez Montage MSC380QM) so that I know whether or not to save up for one that would be great :D

It has an incredible distortion tone built into it. I find that amazing and it seems like it has an acoustic feel which I am much more used to. I'd love to give it a try.

Its a touch quiet as a true acoustic, but remember it was designed for the gigging musician who wants everything in one guitar.. allowing you to just pick up and play on the run. Personally i love not having to take a trunk load of effects and guitars for each gig lol. But at the end of the day, as with all instruments, the guitar has to make the sounds YOU want.. not what other guys say it SHOULD sound like.

I just received my montage about a week ago, and I think my Martin is jealous...I haven't put this one down since it arrived!
