Ofcourse there are similarities cause ALL "those" stories are about the Real History of the land of the "Americas" being stolen From the "Natives" by the Euro people that where greedy and wanted to own everything and wanting more ,. instead of being thankfull for what they already have

they're both great movies. just because something is not completely original (which is extremely rare) does not take away from how enjoyable, interesting and compelling it is.
