Amazing how video games like Bioshock and Brutal Legend make us want to listen to music we otherwise wouldn't give a stuff about.
I love you, video games!

@321ninjamonkey 40's to the 50's.Doo wop music took over most of the 50's. Its a sort of jazz if you will.

what genre is this music? and what decade was this style popular?

After hearing this I now made a vow. When I have a daughter. I'm going to make sure to come home to be with my her. To love and cherish every moment with her and be the best daddy ever. And thanks to Big Daddies my friends know I'll be the one dad who will use a drill on anyone who hurts her.Subject Delta is an inspiration for me like all Big Daddies. Anyone who disagrees with this statement are cold hearted Harvesters.A real man will always be there for his kid no matter what for their happiness

@Medysonball If you read what I was replying to, the guy said "It seems that Fallout had a big influence on BioShock"....meaning the oldies music. I'm talking about Fallout 3, because both BioShock and Fallout 3 have the same genre of music.

@SgtMaynardAcosta fallout 1 came out before bioshock.
-
no offense but if the first time you'd heard of any music made before 1980 was from a videogame you are a culturally isolated person.

@MRF1NLAY BioShock came out before Fallout

Know if you could play as a Big Sister That would be Real cool too, but not as much as being a Big Daddy

It seems that fallout had a big influence on bioshock.
