Hi, i did this hack and it works. But the problem is that when i turn it off, it keeps blinking every 3 or 4 seconds. Do you know why is this happening?

@gabrielito88 usually the problem is the bulb of the lamp, which is ionized and partially continues to shine, replace the lamp or reactor is failing, use another compact lamp damaged reactor.

This hack is nothing special.

In the compact lamp is just a frequency-changer which rises up the frequency from 50-60 Hz up to 20+ kHz, and because of this you need approximately 300-400 times smaller electronical parts to get the same power-output from the electronics.

So the compact lamp is "compact" and lights up rapidly thanhs for the frequency-changer, but is working the same way like the old-school lamp.

So if you interchange their electronics, the lamps will working like in this video.

well i did this before CFL not work but i know ballast work well, i removed twist fluorcent light and ballast body then keep ballast board and ready put in 24 inches fluorcent tube fixture still work for 3 years, no burnout
