I love this album- and this video complements it well. Did the band G.O.L do anything else before or after this album? And where's the singer now?!

Very nice!!! I like the part with the tired travelllers waiting ... reminds me of my trip to India...

Look, "Love the tripped out temple", comment by Tibbenham. Would that actually be THE Mark Tibbenham from GOL? I have Sensations of Tone and love the album, its timeless and has been a favourite of mine for many years. I've read that some people pay over 200 Euro to get a copy of the CD now.

Great song. Look up Soma on Wikipedia for some fascinating reading.

Where the music of the radio
Was a labyrinth of sonorous colours
To a bright centre of absolute convicton
Where the dripping patchouli
Was more than scent
It was a sun.

It's actually the Gol Gumbaz, located in the city of Bijapur, southern India.

You know, I sort of think that this song would be great for dancing to. I haven't really tried dancing to it yet, but I have an idea of what the dance will be like (mostly improvisational).

I guess the dance would be fairly slow and spiritual. Perhaps someone can make a video of themselves dancing to 'Soma Holiday' ;)
