Zebra Finch Pair Singing and Squeaking

These are Zebra Finches. There is a male and a female. Male is more colorful and he sings while female doesn't sing but looks puffier. These birds make excellent pets because they will display nesting and courtship behavior in captivity, in your home. They will also breed easier than other birds. You just have to provide them with a nest. You can throw some nesting materials in the cage and they'll pick it up and bring it into the nest.

sometimes its loud in the morning around 9am, I havent heard them earlier unless a lot of light was going in

@FrooteyLoops But finch birds need 2 to survive they get too lonely! It's not hard to keep 2 at all since they live in the same place & use the same things :)

@bkhenry1031 Oh.. thats nice.. my bird died a month ago, July 11th. We think he froze to death cause my brother kept turning the A/C on which was right behind his cage in the window. But anyway im just trying to say, love and care for your birds while it lasts.

@FrooteyLoops It really doesn't. They're quiet at night, and it's actually pretty pleasant sounding during the day. I have 4 and love the sound. Big birds are much worse. They are loud enough for neighbors to hear and they will squak whenever the damn well please.
