  • I'm not buying the stealing of signs from center field.....why? The first pitch to Bobby Thompson in 1951......playoff "shot heard round the world" was a fastball right down the pipe.....so why didn't he hit it....because he didn't know it was coming....and the ball he did hit....he tomahawked.....it was high and inside...oh so he knew the signs and yet chose to hit the ball that was more difficult to hit? BS.
