A rare interview from Australian TV ('Countdown '77') in which you can see/hear outtakes of the song "London Town". Recorded at Air Studio London, February 1977.
Linda also mentions releasing her songs as Suzy And The Red Stripes, a fact that will become reality a few months later with the release of 'Seaside Woman' on 45.

@unlikeanyotherhuman Yes it (the guitar part) stank like the rest of the song. Stoner Paul thought he was doing great. I had quite a lot of time for his wife even if she did talk a lot of shite back then.

@femaleanimal What started as a musical hobby was something that got published and you will probably have heard it, so I even got paid for it. My first exposure to Macca WAS in the 1980s & I expected his output to be like his output in the 1960s in terms of quality & it was a disappointing pointless dead collection of music. I listened to his stuff from the 70s and it was still pretty bad. He hasn't got any better over the years. I did like 'Mull of Kintyre' when it was in the charts though.
