Mahindra XUV500 top speed

Please note - video taken on the Mumbai - Pune expressway at a time when there was hardly any traffic. We, Bunny Punia (driving) and Bobby Roy (shooting) did take the Mahindra XUV500 to near its top speed but also made sure we did it on a relatively empty stretch. If Xuv500 can reach the 200 kmph mark and beyond?

If it does? I Will buy it instead of buying chevrolet cruze. Coz i badly need 200 mark reaching car,between these 2 cars,the thing i am asking you about this is,coz suv can do more things for me than a sedan can naturally,that's the reason i need your input in this....Thanks a lot! :-)

@MrAdityaindhouse - as u can see, it went to almost 190km/h in a pretty short time. Diesels do take their own time getting to a speed and yes, i think, given a good stretch and a windless day, the XUV might just kiss the 200 mark. Mahindra reports a true top speed of 186km/h, which does translate into 200 with speedometer error :)

Please note - video taken on a relatively empty stretch of the Mumbai - Pune expressway. Please don't crib - all automotive magazines / websites / channels also test new vehicles in such conditions! We had no option but to choose public roads but made sure the traffic was next to zero during this video :)
