All the guitar covers of Chemical plant appear to be heavy metal interpretations, so I wanted to try my hand at creating something with a more mellow feel.
That being said, I feel like I may have "jumped the shark" a bit with this one i.e. you could argue I have strayed too far from the original tune. I have about five separate projects with various versions of this theme (some are more akin to the original track), but this is the most 'complete' version I've come up with so far. Anyways, I hope you enjoy it.

Who the crap cares if you stray from the tune a bit? As long as you play with something that is true to the feeling and has some soul of your own, the true fans and the true people that love music of all kinds will come and love it.
This really is something different and I love the style you put into this. Keep these goings.

This is amazing. As a huge sonic fan I must say this does the level justice. I honestly didn't want it to end. I don't think you strayed to far at all, imo its spot on.

Best cover on youtube! I know it is a pain in the bum, but if you tabbed this out I would love you forever. This is incredible, and I can sit around playing this for hours if I knew how.

Wow this definitely deserves more views, I love this! It stays close to the original, but gives such a different emotional meaning, it's great!

When I first recorded it I thought it sounded a little cheesy, especially with the beat, and there are so many great versions of this (including many OCRemix versions) but as long as you guys like it, that's all that matters to me!
