I have a 78 thunderbird with 106k miles but I have the town landau with the 6.6 liter 400 and leather seats which was about seven grand new

I do not own one, but I read that the gas mileage on them is only 8-10 mpg at the most.

@tech9803 Probably was. American cars went right into the toilet starting in 1977 and didn't start climbing out until Ford just redesigned cars from the bottom up starting with the first generation Taurus.

There is one of these in that color with a 351M for $800 near my house. It runs, and drives from what I've seen.

I want a 76 thunderbird really nice cars those boats were great. Any of you own a 76 thunderbird that can tell me if the gas EPA on these cars are dependable.
