Um - all of those devices except Apple were capable of running air - so all of them already had this - how can you patent what is already available ? You cant patent multi touch, or massive multi touch when it is already available simply because you have coded it in another language.....sorry.

@ZUNECARDSTV You forgot one thing, IE9 was running on a PC the others were slower ARM-tablets.

@MuhammadDerkaDerka No, they are plain old Javascript APIs defined by the W3C and can be used in plain old HTML 4.01, XHTML or even without HTML -- I personally use the IndexedDB and the Canvas API server-side with Node.js without HTML or a DOM. HTML is agnostic to what scripting or stylesheet language you use, you're supposed to send the Content-Script-Type header if you don't specify a type= attribute or use any on* attributes, though most browsers (incorrectly) assume text/javascript.
