Lifted 1980 Chevy 4x4 with 400sbc

Went for a quick spin in my buddies "new" lifted chevy (I'm not a chevy guy so I don't know what it's called exactly) with a 400sb backed by a np435 or T-18, we believe a np203 t-case on 33's if I remember right. Engine has a knock to it but still ran good and straight down the road. Has headers to dual pipes with cherry bombs, holley intake, edelbrock 600 carb, accel HEI style dizzy, said to have a different cam, an electric fan, etc.
