TPiR 3/6/09 ... Jack Wagner Skunks the Show (Epic Fail Supreme)

I know it's not his fault it was a 0/6 show. There were stupid mistakes, like picking a possible car price in Gas first (and it was), $55 on the first SP in Cliffy (but she just as well may have been distracted by him), picking 6375 over 7995 in DP (WTF), an intentionally hard setup in Hi/Lo, and mistaking cosmetics again in Eazy. But I don't really care - this just made the show plain unenjoyable for me. Take the skunking as figurative instead of literal here.
The showcase was OK. It would have been fine if that was his ONLY appearance.
Don't overreact and say it's time to cancel the show, either. Hopefully no more cross-promotions this large will be made, but we'll have to get by the ACMA first (likely airdate: 4/3).

@WayoshiM However, this has been the first time anybody trained in improv comedy has been a host, and to have skits and the like were Drew's idea, so the show isn't "supposed" to be anything other than what the writers want it to be.

Fremantle was slowly destroying the show during the last few years of Barker's reign, but this was the iceburg the TPiR Titanic struck, as Fremantle currently finishes off the job.

Too late for hopefully no more cross-promotions because this was El Skunko 3: The Wrath of Wagner (Jack Wagner). El Skunko 4 and El Skunko 5 would come the following season.
