This video is a calamity of misplaced intentions. I love the idea of translating the sensual nature of her music into a romantic tragedy, but the message is poorly conveyed. The cinematography is contrived. The choreography is academic. The greatest offense to art, however, is in the plot line. Mae as the protagonist is portrayed without depth. We need to love her character. The antagonist is the worst! The bait with the darkness and evil laughter (cool) but he dances like a tender schoolboy.
