Oh, and I can't wait until my 8 year old and 4 year old boys wake up. I am gonna blast this throughout the house (they have concluded I was nuts over the years singing this to them). See kids, Daddy only SEEMS crazy :)

This is THE quintessential holiday song for me as a kid, conjuring up all of the excitement I felt 30 plus years ago!! Thank you for posting and I can TOTALLY relate to calling on Christmas Eve (today) and signing or texting these lyrics --- I do it EVERY year with my sisters and best friend. Wow! Thanks for posting this! This made my Christmas! I wore this record out in the early 70's and call my sister and parents every year on the 23rd and sing this song. Yes, some members of my family argue that it's the 24th but if you listened and loved this song as a child you know it's the 23rd. Thanks for the memories and even tears. Glad my kids could finally listen to someone besides me singing it. Merry day before the night before Christmas!
