This is a very wonderful abbey to visit. It's even better when you stay a night or two. The abbey sits on a huge tract of beautiful land, so if you're a nature lover, you'll have quite a lot to take in. The nuns are very special. Their singing will blow you away when you're there, it's so spiritual. You sense God very easily in this place. It's about 2 hours NW of Denver, out in the middle of nowhere.

This entry seems like a fictional aggrandizement. Nowhere could be a worthy meditation.

Confession: I recorded the chanting secretly, for myself, then later asked permission for use in this thank-you video.
I thought the abbey would be inescabably claustrophobic. But seven days and nights we spent with them, each full of peaceful prayer, satisfying work, and good community. As a rap-singing, city-living, video-making, postcard-collecting, constantly-Tweeting Christian university student, I consider it time extremely well spent.
No need to take my word on it: have a visit :)
