  • the phrase in the last stanza "don't talk of love. Let's talk of Paris" could be suggesting he has replaced the word love with paris, if you then read the last stanza with the word love instead of paris the meaning of it changes. Also the mention of the famous places could be saying he does not care about cliché romantic love but prefers physical love as he notices all the physical attributes of her and the hotel room.
