Theodore Kerkezos, the renown Austrian conductor Günter Neuhold and the Thessaloniki State Orchestra, performed the "Tableaux de Provence" (I,II.parts) by Paule Maurice at the Thessaloniki Megaron Concert Hall on 18th September 2009.
wow they took the piano part and turned it into something like a concerto with percussion too. Excellent performance. It seems the acoustics were a little bad for this location, but the sound was able to be heard. That is the first time I have seen the saxophone in an orchestra.
It was written for saxophone and orchestra. The piano part is an orchestral reduction.
