I'm a rooooky so rooky all the gold I've found has been by accident. I live in Ohio I know not known for gold. There is some from glaciers and people find flour to placer gold. I've been told that there is actually a lot more gold than I think it is just so fine panning or sluicing does not usually pay off. Is there any advice to accumulating this "fine gold" into a usable amount? Or is there a reason people don't really mess with it? Thank You in advance.

Like to watch you pan. I done a bit of it for the first time this past spring. I found a couple of specs in my very first pan. Man, that was exciting. Lots of fine "flour" gold here in Alabama. But I've found a few pickers. Can't wait for it to warm up. Love your vids. Can tell that you're for real...(not loading your pan down with gold for the camera).

Love your videos Graham and I learn a lot watching and listening to you.
As a panning newbie, I always worry that I'm going to slosh something important out of the pan, so I love watching you thrash that pan around!

Yeah we do go fast in the videos.. usually we have a catch tub or something but for the videos we try to speed them up to fit everything in...
Good suggestions though ..
