Amazon has cheap DS parts. I just replaced my daughter's lower touch screen for $2.40 plus a few bucks for tools. You can get a pair of hinges and all the tools needed for around seven dollars.There are some great repair tutorials right here on youtube.

I found one in the trash can and has the same problem but ill find a way to fix it

this happened to mine as well as long as the wires didnt break it should work just fine make sure you have all the peices that came off when that happened and then click the corner back in place after assigning each peice to its correct position (this part may require some force just try not to break it further) if the wires are broken it would be cheaper just to get a new ds).
