If Mrs. LaBianca was already dead it is because Van Houten made that happen. Van Houten says she held Mrs. LaBianca down for Krenwinkel to begin stabbing her. And why did Leslie hood Mrs. LaBianca and tether her by the neck? That handiwork of Van Houten's eliminated the lady's chance of fleeing, helping her husband, or succeeding in the fight for her life. And Van Houten stabs her 16 MORE times? --Eats her food, wears her clothes?
She has to pay.

I find it distasteful when prisoners get parole rejections due to the infamy of the case whereas prisoners with similar convictions recieve earlier parole simply because their case is not a political hot potatoe. I believe the tenets equitas et equalitas.
