I know of couple of S&S tuners here in the UK who use tuning software, and the results are great (although it's always tweaked by ear afterwards). There is definitely some kind of stigma attached to the use of an ETD. Strange.
Sorry, but it's just not true that there are different requirements to tune a Steinway as opposed to a Yamaha etc. Steinways are no more "hand made" than other quality instruments - they are all largely machine made, except for assembly. Also, the best tuning software (not "machines") will enable as good a job as anyone if used by a good aural tuner. These statements remind me of the kind of uninformed claims that sales people make - surprising, coming from a trained tuner.
At 0:55 she says that electronic devices do not work so well in mostly hand-made pianos, but with tuning software there is always a way of adapting the program to each piano and you can make the most of a tuning.
He Jennifer ! all the colleagues say you are nice !
I suggest you find a better posture for your back, may be using the right leg more on the right or even behind you, to use its weight and have a better grip on the floor. You are asking too much of your back there.(or do you grip the keyboard with the knees ?) a good way is also changing hammer position between raising and settling..to lay less above the piano. Ah... being young ! best -I Saac
