I think this is why I stick with short stories like Watchmen when it comes to comics.

There are just too many mythos, retcons, remakes, and endless issues to keep track of. lol

The only way I see that this one more dya mess could be fixed is by either making it all a dream or having the still married Spiderman go to an alternate universe where he finds that this alternate SPiderman is nothing but a loser and gets inspired to not be like this loser SPiderman. Than have him go back to the real world and reestablish him as a badass and not as some chew toy failure hero.
