This is the worst theory by anyone over the age of 7!
-
@davnxs because the theory would have consequences that are cleary not observed in our day to day world. There would be electric fields, stray currents, polariazation mayhem. It would be almost impossible for any electrical device to work reliably. In plasma or anything conductive, currents neutralize potentials so that the net E -field is zero, minimizing the energy of the system. Whats the source of energy to keep up your E fields/ currents or you just forgot about energy conservation?

@MetalMilitia5488 and your point is...?

@MetalMilitia5488 This theory has explained things that nothing else ever has. It’s helping us to also understand the past.
The fact that there is electricity in space can no longer be denied, yet I don’t hear anything about it in mainstream. Why?
Because you’re talking something that will change everything, that’s why.
This is the best video I know about on this subject. You have to watch it more than once for everything to start to sink in.

@MetalMilitia5488 What the problem is, and this is what sends most people running, is that big money suppressed Tesla’s discoveries because they couldn’t meter it.
Most think if something has merit, they’ll find out about it thru the experts, but it’s not so.
Dark energy is really zero point energy. Watch the whole video but at 58min. he talks about it again.

@davnxs Note that I did not even attest that Thornhill is wrong. I simply asked where/how his ideas/models account for experimentally observed phenomena which are accurately predicted by relativity. There are more far-fetched ideas in modern physics than what Thornhill discusses here, but ultimately, the model that survives is the one that is supported by experiment. One of the major criticisms of modern mainstream physics (string theory) is that it makes untestable claims.

@davnxs Our current model of the universe obviously has flaws since we do not have a quantum theory of gravity, and eventually special/general relativity will be replaced with a more accurate model. However, that does not mean general relativity has no basis in reality. In fact, satellite navigation systems would not work without general relativity which accounts for time dilation due to gravitation and relative velocity.

@MetalMilitia5488 What world do you live in?
Do you know how many times I’ve been told, well if there’s any to it at all then the experts will look at it, and if they think its legit then I’ll hear about it thru the official scientific channels. I’ve had people refuse to even watch videos about this topic claiming they’ll leave it up to the experts.
So your statement has no bases in reality and is not true. Kind of like our current model of the universe, no bases in reality.
This seriously is a terrible theory.

@ronnano Why do you say that? Because it doesn’t need dark matter, dark energy or black holes (all of which doesn’t exist) to explain things. Tell us, just why is it a terrible theory?
