Note: The Dreamcast had a built-in modem, where ethernet came from an adapter (in 2001). The Mega-CD was a CD-ROM add-on for the Mega-Drive a few years before PS1, and the 3DO console (1993) was CD-ROM based.

Nothing against Sony, but you do seem to be stretching the point for Sony whilst doing the reverse for MS. As I said, they BOTH have done a lot for gaming :)

@erikngn yeah, the Xbox barely managed to outsell the Gamecube by a mere 2.26 million units! the Gamecube sold 21.74 million units while the Xbox sold 24 million units and both of these consoles are out of productions while the ps2 is STILL being sold today!

p.s. the ps2 has sold the MOST units of EVERY console up-to-date! it has sold a whopping 153.19 million units! :D

@quackinator1 agree with you. first PS was in 1995 fnd it was a hit. first xbox was in 2001, and was not such a big hit.
