Hi there. Here's my second Kendama Edit. There are more self-made combinations than in the first edit, but many Tricks are still official and you can check them out on the official JKA Hompage.
Some Tricks are "Variations" of some official Tricks, so they don't have a name. It took me about 3 weeks to record all the Tricks. I know there is a spelling mistake at the hanging one turn airplane, but i hope u dont mind^^

  • during your first three weeks, how intensely were you practicing?

  • @IIIGregorIII almost everyday for a couple of hours. at the time i had holidays...so lots and lots of spare time ^^

  • @pr12WingYin I've had mine for almost 4 years and still haven't figured out the spike D: any tips?

  • @IIIGregorIII stay calm when you do the trick, try not to move around too much. in the beginning try to hold the ken so that the spike is pointing upwards and is almost vertical. dont use your arms to pull up the tama but rather bend your knees and go up to do it. focus on the point where the string is attached to the tama and try to position the ken right under the tama if you pulled it up. it takes a little time, but keep practicing and dont give up too quickly ^^

hope this will help a little!

  • @pr12WingYin I can do tama to spike, I'm referring to getting the tama to the spike from any of the three cups. I have yet to figure that out. Most times (if I ever am able to do it) its luck for me.

  • @IIIGregorIII try different juggling combinations and remember to catch the tama on any of the cups with the hole always pointing towards you. now you just have to toss the tama into the air and position the ken right underneath it. first try big cup and in, then small cup and in, and last but not least center cup and in. if you mastered these steps you are ready to try out the various "around" tricks as in "around japan" or "around the world". check out my first vid.
