LAFPUL - Season 3 - Episode 42
(Demi's POV)
We reached the room and walked inside, slowly and carefully. Nick's fingers held onto my fingers limply, not how he usually did. Selena was standing next to the hospital bed, smiling down at Taylor who was lying down. She wiped some tears away and grabbed his hand, rubbing his hand with her thumb. They both looked at Nick and i at the same time. A small smile was plastered on Taylor's lips. "Hey," his voice croaked. I looked from Selena to Taylor. "Hey, Tay," i smiled, "You okay?" Selena looked down at him and smiled. He looked back up at her as he replied, "I think i'll be okay."
(Later - No POV - w/Selena)
Selena walked into the hospital room, holding a cup of soup and a bag of cookies. She was about to tell Taylor she got them from the cafeteria when she looked up to find Taylor sleeping peacefully. She smiled and took a seat, right beside his bed. Setting the stuff down on the seat next to her, she crossed her legs and looked around the room. The walls were painted blue and purple; the wallpaper had little red and pink hearts drawn on it and some medical equipment. The room smelled of tape and- "Selena?" Taylor's voice broke through the silence, startling her. "Sorry," he smiled, his voice still cracking, "I didnt mean to scare you." Selena smiled slightly and stood up, trotting over to the bedside. "You really should rest," she whispered, pushing him down easily when he tried to sit up. He sighed, defeated. "Im fine," he argued, but was cut off with by a cough. "See?" said Selena, turning her head when Nick and Demi walked in.
(Demi's POV)
"Can someone help me?! These frickin' cookies are heavy!" i exclaimed, juggling a pile of chocolate chip cookies in my arms. Nick walked past me, chuckling. He, too, was carrying a bunch of food. "She's on a cookie-craze," Nick explained, setting the food he was holding down on the small table as he rushed over to me and took the cookies from my hands. I smiled and tucked my hands behind my back. "Sel?" i asked, my voice quiet and soft. "Mhm?" she asked, turning around fully. "Can i talk to you?" i questioned. She blinked her eyes a few times and nodded, coming back to earth. "Yeah. Sure," she said, dazed. I headed out of the room with Selena on my heels. I turned around, with a stern expression on my face. "Did you tell him?!" i asked strictly, my voice a stage-whisper considering we were right outside of the room. "No!" she exclaimed, her voice hushed a bit. "You're killing me," i groaned lightly, pacing as i scratched my head. "I promise.. i wont talk to him about anything involving 'luuuuve'," she told me, drawing out the O in love. I rolled my eyes and slightly smiled. "It feels like everything is falling into place," i said, "Sorta."
