@casper9013 It's not Liberal's Anti-Gunners can be anyone. I'm a liberal, and know many other liberals that are pro-arms, and I know a few conservatives that are anti-gun. It's not about political affiliation, it's about individuals. Don't just assume.

Ummm.... 1:43 Americans are free?
Free people do not have their income and property taxed; the gov't never gets its sticky fingers in the people's pockets.
Free people do not have their firearms freedoms trampled by states selling permission slips to exercise 2nd amendment rights.
Free people are not searched for no good reason, take a look in any airport.
I used to like the NRA, but then they sponsored the Patriot Act. I will not renew my membership because of it.

Let's say LaPierre WAS a draft dodger and did not want to fight in Vietnam. What does that have to do with gun rights in the USA? Perhaps he knew that our own government is more of a threat to our freedom than the Vietnamese (or Osama) could ever be.
