Anywhere in NY is cold and snowy..just that Oswego has a lot of wind and lake effect.

I'm going to be going to Oswego in August. I've toured 9 colleges before making my choice and I have to say that Oswego does have some of the nicest and biggest dorms.

I am a student at Oswego and actually am a resident assistant. All students are required to clean their rooms before they move out or they will be charged a cleaning fee. Also, all rooms are cleaned over the summer as well. And as for extremely small...take a look at some other schools. We have some of the best looking, and biggest rooms around

If he is going to go to SUNY Oswego, DO NOT LIVE IN THE DORMS...the students that live in the dorms the year before are not required to clean ANYTHING and the employees who clean rooms in the summer are not given nearly enough time to thuroughly clean a room, so they are disgusting by the time new students move in, and they are extremely small to boot.
