i think i read somewhere that Gregg was in a grocery store one day and there was this little girl there with her mother.
and the mother yelled Melissa get over here.
i think thats where this song comes from.
i think it was in randy poe's book called skydog the Duane allman story.
you should check it out, its really good.

For years I used to hold the bass with my thumb when playing the F#M and G#M. One day I left the low E open. Sounded like a nicer voicing of the chord to me.

I've been watching your videos now for about six months and its great to have someone freely give their expertise to fellow guitarists. BTW you should put a banner on your dog and have him walk back and forth during your videos,perhaps plugging Gibson products, you know just to make it a little more commercial like google :D
