The greatest comedy duo of all time? It depends whether you go for brainy (Nichols and May) or bawdy (Reiner and Brooks). This classic early 60s Nichols and May sketch about a guy losing his last dime in the payphone is beyond brilliant. (Thanks to BettyByte for digging up the lost footage...I re-synced the audio and added the missing first part from the record.)

Thank you very much for posting. I remember listening to Nichols and May in the 60's with mom and my aunt. great memories. Best comedy team of the 60's.
A shaggy dog story is often boring and predictable. The trick is in the telling. No duo tells a story better than May and Nichols. The only complaint I have is that we can't see more of their work on YouTube. They are American classics!
This is wonderful. Many years ago my father had this on an old reel-to-reel tape recorder. My brothers and sisters and I had listened to it many times growing up until one day when I inadvertently taped over it. (Dad was VERY unhappy.......) What wonderful memories to hear this again. Please enjoy.
