The Sisters (feat. Ersi Arvizu) - All Grown Up (Crystals cover - 1965)

Chicana girl-group from East L.A., composed of sisters Rosella, Ersi & Mary Arvizu.

Though well-known locally, they failed to have major chart action on a national level. Here they do their version of the classic by The Crystals.

Ersi was only 14 at the time of the recordings. It did say they always wore matching outfits and they used "Motown's Supremes as their main source of inspiration". It also mentions 2 members of the rock group Love (Arthur Lee and Johnny Echols) were musicians on these tracks.

They recorded six sides and one unreleased track in their two years with Del-Fi. None were major chart impacts. Ersi went on to record later with El Chicano.

This sounds alot like THe Crystals Version & The Dixies Cups version put into one, I love it, they should release a Best of collection for this group to get them known
