This snake was in our kitchen!!! It came out of the air duct and curled up underneath the microwave stand. A friend was here fixing something and he saw it. We armed ourselves with leather gloves & brooms, and he managed to get it outside! After we got it outside, it went behind the a/c unit & was heading for the dryer vent. It kept striking at him! Our friend used a grabber type tool, caught it, then took it out to the yard & released it. Didn't even know what kind of snake it was until the next day. Still gives me the creeps. Info says "lays a clutch of 4 - 16 eggs in June or July. Eggs hatch 6 - 11 weeks later and babies are 12 - 16 inches". Today is 6 weeks exactly. Sure hope it didn't lay eggs in our house!!!! Muffin is one of our cats. She was sitting on the sidewalk, watching.

  • I took this video AFTER it was out of the kitchen. Believe me, there was plenty of screaming. No convulsions, but it took a long time to calm down afterwards.

  • @gob144 Coachwhip I think?

  • It was cool that you guys released it, rather than kill it. It is totally harmless. It is very ill tempered. A great mouser.

  • You guys arre mighty calm with a snake in your kitchen. I'd be screaming and would probably have convulsions over that being in my home!

  • what kind of snake is that?

  • OMG!!!!! Creepy!!!! Watch out, Muffin!
