I think this was a Ryko US2001 overhead wash. There wasn't enough LEFT OF IT for me to visually identify it. Sorry about that.

This is what you get when you combine a car wash and... I don't even know what. It looks like someone tried to drive a VERY LARGE truck through it. You fools, you need an R168 or Atlantis for that!

No, it did not remove the bird poop from my car. I then had to use a high pressure self service wash to remove WAXED bird poop. Failure.

I officially double dog dare the local techs to make sense of this thing. I certainly could... :)

  • @TheCarwash97 No. it literally fell off its track and died at some point. I heard it was just never the same once someone tried to wash a tow truck in there and struck the gantry at high speed ....... pwned.

  • dont you work for ryko

  • @mismag9221 I am quite glad I do not. I tried to get a job with the local company that does service with them and it was the worst waste of time ever.

  • @hyvahyva well you said you desined the maxx or was that maxona whatever his name is

  • @mismag9221 Nah, that wasn't me... the owner used chlorine to kill off the algae that was growing on the brush surfaces.

  • The pressure is supposed to be weak it only uses a 300 psi. most washes use 1000 psi.but high impact uses more water and less pressure.

  • Pore little ryko never had a chance.LOL!!

  • is this piece of scrap metal running still?

  • This was Ryko's answer to the Laserwash. Drive system is better but the control leaves a lot to be desired- the thing hunts around the vehicle endlessly constantly readjusting itself as it goes around. While this reduces the chances of a vehicle strike it makes the thing slower. The Radius improved some on this but it's still slower.

  • @hyvahyva Try PBS Boot Sealant. They use the stuff on aircraft deicing boots and it works very well.

  • Yeah, these touchfree systems don't impress me very much and to be honest I don't think they do a very good job cleaning your car. Sadly more and more businesses are going with these systems because they consider them safer and more efficient. I'll take a SoftGloss Maxx anyday over one of these type of machines.
