Thinking it was in the early nineties, the Dead became really popular and it felt a trend to me brought on by the Dead's turn over to commercialism. Suddenly people who never heard of them were getting a Grateful Dead experience. The original concerts were the real GRATEFUL DEAD experience which could never happen again
