I've had two different sets of neighbors how each had a pit. One was neglected, in a cage all the time and tormented by the two bratty kids they had, and she turned mean.
The second was loved, well fed, exercised and respected. Sweetest dog in the world.
You still need to be careful with them, IMO, but if you treat them right, they can make the sweetest and most loyal pets in the world
By the way, this pit has the most BEAUTIFUL markings in the world! I'd just love to snuggle with him!
