I miss this. Music like this. When it actually carried a meaning behind the music. An underlying tone and message.
Pennywise was, without a doubt, so influential to me on my life growing up.
I can only hope the generations below me can understand music like this and experience it.
I really hope they can see past all this hardcore, deathcore, experimental stuff and realized music once carried a message. Not just bands competing for the most brutal breakdown.

Check out "Society", another kick ass Pennywise song that is actually about something important. Thats what I like about these guys, everysong might sound the same but they actually have meaning.

this song, and we aint shit by NOFX got me into punk when i was 8 years old (10 years ago). when i play guitar, you can easily pick up pennywise & nofx influences. favorite bands that have been with me for more than half my life. right on.
