STRANGE LIGHT OVER SHEFFIELD

ON SUNDAY 24TH AUGUST 2009 AT 20.40PM WHAT LOOKED LIKE A PLANE ON FIRE PAST OVER OUR HOUSE IN INTAKE SHEFFIELD. BUT IT WAS NO PLANE AND IT WASNT ON FIRE. THE TOP HALF WAS DOMED SHAPED AND UNDERNEATH WAS A GLOWING BALL OF FIRE. BUT IT WAS COMPLETELY SILENT AND FLEW AT GREAT SPEED.

Also that night after witnessing all that was seen..... within the space of 5-10 mins after 'what was waiting for the orange diamond shaped object disappeared' A merlin military helicopter circuled the area followed by two tornado fighter jets at a heigher attitude came around the village for 5-6mins then went in the direction of the 'disk' shaped craft OPPS I said 'disk' :O ) 4th october 2009 8:16pm never forget!

@adinovs25 some arn't lanterns ( thats how you spell it by the way dumb arse) its a cover up/ basically muddying the waters for the genuine object I saw on 4th oct 2009 which believe it after watching it hover and drop blobs of what can only be described as hot molten metal propusled itself straight to the heavens were something was waiting for it ;) i will not go any further with this as you would have to have been there to see it. watch the TV adverts its full of people setting lanterns off

i can help you they are chinese lanterns u light them and the float in to the sky i saw loads new years eve you can buy them online for about 8 pound or somethin there used on special occations like weddings new years ect hope this has helped : )

Yo, we jus saw the exact thing youve described over Sheffield tonight, was kinda flyin sideways, then it dripped like a spark or sumthin then faded away into the distance...Dont know what the hel it was, but we saw two of these within 10minutes of eachother, sum1 explain??????

we saw this on the 17 10 09 at about 7 ish it was a bright orange light that got smaller and was travelling at a slowish speed. There was also orange sparks dripping from it then it just sort of got smaller and disapeard up into sky saw it on just off mansfield road sheffield and this vid is more or lss same as we saw weird
