Hey Andrew!

If you want to see a superb piece of sideslipping watch Aircrash Investigation; Air Canada 143 made an emergency landing at Gimli 20 miles outside Winnipeg, Canada in 1983. the 767 was insufficiently fuelled leading to the engines shutting down, the pilot sideslipped to the runway after realising he was coming in too high and too fast( although a reconstruction it's pretty much what happened). A superb feat of flying and one hell of a pilot.

Hey,
I'm interested in getting one, which Jabiru is it? Since i'd like to get a cockpit like that and all the ones I saw they have are the small ones which look.. Like a toy. How much was it and is it much quieter than a Cessna, if you know?
Thanks!!

hi, it is a j160 with the glass cockpit option. The primary intrument display (pid) has as much information on it as the 737's. It is tefinatly quiter outside then a cessna. You can get a second hand j160 from aroun $40 000 and upwards. I have heard the j230's are much easier to fly, but are more expensive.
cheers
