Παιδια,πρωτα απο ολα μην τα λεμε 'μαρμαρα' δεν ειναι απλα μαρμαρα. Μαρμαρο ειναι αυτο που βγαινει απο το λατομειο.ειναι γλυπτα του παρθενωνα και ολης της ακροπολης.Ας μην παρεξηγουμε τις εννοιες γιατι δειχνει οτι δεν ξερουμε και πολλα για αυτους τους θυσαυρους που τοσο θελουμε πισω..

The fact is the Parthenon is itself, including the sculptures, a single work of art which was vandalized time and again over the years, most egregiously by Elgin. The British have the opportunity now to foster good will and pay the price for this vandalism and return them to Greece. Make the work of Ictinus and Callicrates as whole as possible again.

well, seeing that the ancient greeks rescued the english from the dark ages and helped their civilization advance through the era of the renaissance...yeah, i think the marbles rightfully belong in Greece.

By the way i am living in Athens can really feel how precious the marbles are for this new museum and Athens. Britain has so much of diamond,gold and precious things that they looted from Asian countries which they have some reason for not giving back...but marbles from Partheneon!!! i dont know whats their problem...
